After I launched my first website about the King of Heart symbols, I received a message from Germany from another card collector named Ulrich Knupfer. He had noticed the same symbol pattern and had written an article for Karten-presse Berichte zur Spielkarte Nr. 16 (Card Press, Reports on playing card No. 16). His article was titled "Das Phänomen eines Königs oder das Geheimnis im Ricasso" or "The Phenomenon of a King or the Secret in Ricasso". Unfortunately, his fellow European card collectors were not interested in this discovery.

After using a Google translator to read his article I found we were of like minds on the subject. He was even working on a numbering system for them but I had more symbols and knew more about the connections. He also created a family tree type drawing of the card makers which I will expand on in the near future. Hopefully our collaborations will grow and gain more interest among collectors.
